Q. How do you re-format the DR16?<br />

A. Press the menu button 9 times. The screen should read 32m-v-15. Then press and hold the erase button until the screen reads Fast Format. Lastly, press the play button down and scroll over to yes. Selecting yes will reformat the recorder.
